This year each fourth grader in class created a heart using line and shape designs. They colored the hearts using many colors of colored markers. Once all hearts in the class were complete I cut each heart on the paper cutter. I cut the hearts in to four pieces. Students chose the piece of their heart they liked best and then they traded the other three heart pieces with three different students in class. After trading they fit the hearts back together and each heart then had four different pieces in it, each piece created by a different student.
