Third graders have been completing several lessons involving the country Egypt. They recently created a work of art using their names. They were given several handouts with ancient hieroglyph writings and they had to find each letter of their names. They then did finished symbols in marker and assembled them in the correct order to spell their names. They made some wonderful hieroglyph name art.
